Central Storehouse Ship-Out Program
Introduction
The Central Storehouse Ship-Out Program assists campus departments with:
- coordination of outbound shipments to ensure Federal regulations are met
- preparation of bills of lading
- preparation of insurance reports for Risk Management Services
- clearing of foreign shipments with an authorized broker
- arrangement for shipment of packages.
Departments are responsible for packing materials for shipping, preparing a
Central Storehouse/Receiving Shipping Memo (catalog #71461-143 in
UCD Buy) for each outbound shipment, obtaining a vendor's return authorization (if applicable), and placing address labels on all packages.
